One of the missions of the Kalamazoo Civil War Round Table is to provide financial support to Civil War Preservation groups. Past recipients of KCWRT donations have been:

 $456 to The Civil War Preservation Trust (earmarked for Petersburg, VA land acquisition)

 $1013 to The Central Virginia Battlefield Trust (for purchase of the Slaughter Pen Farm at Fredericksburg, VA)
• 2005

 No donation made. Funds were rolled over to next year.
• 2004

 $463 to The Carter House Museum ( Franklin, TN)

 $500 to The Civil War Preservation Trust (Jerry Russell Memorial Fund)
• 2003

 Kent County Civil War monument rededication

 $400 to The Friends of the Siege and Battle of Corinth (MS)
